Who am I, you ask?

I’m Advait Joshi, your friendly neighborhood Lead Data Acquisition Engineer at LifeRaft. With a Bachelors of Science in Applied Computing Technologies and a Masters in Computing and Data Analytics, I spend my days diving deep into the vast sea of data, emerging with pearls of insights and actionable information to keep people safe.

Academically, I’ve had the honor of standing as the valedictorian of my Bachelor’s class, and the privilege of leading a band of tech enthusiasts as president of the IT club. Perhaps one of my proudest achievements was building a game from scratch and employing machine learning techniques to solve it, a testament to my love for blending creativity and technology.

Yet, when I’m not indulging my passion for coding, I’m a super-bibliophile lost in the fascinating maze of literature. I revel in the beauty of the written word, a joy that I channel into creating short stories and poems that pepper this blog.

Life for me isn’t just about codes and books though. It’s also about the adrenaline rush that comes from adventure and the quiet tranquility of nature. I love immersing myself in the captivating solitude of the Canadian outdoors. Whether it’s biking through serene trails, kayaking in clear waters, or bungee jumping from dizzying heights, there’s no adventure I’m not willing to try.

Straddling the worlds of technology and creativity, I am a testament to the notion that you can indeed code a program and pen a poem, master machine learning and traverse mountains. My life’s an open book, and I invite you to join me on this journey, whether as a data enthusiast, a literary comrade, or a fellow adventurer. Get in touch and let’s chart a course through this fascinating, multifaceted universe together!
